Art & Story Club — January 2026 Issue | "A Bitter Pill"

You hear the mailman and eagerly open the mailbox because I told you your letter was on its way. It smells like snow and you can't wait to open it.

One-time purchase: This is the January 2026 back issue, not a recurring subscription.

The January 2026 Issue of the Jan Dale Art & Story Club is a handcrafted mailing delivered straight to your door — no screens, no scrolling, just a beautifully printed letter and an art print based on original artwork to hold in your hands.

This issue includes:

• A true story: "A Bitter Pill" — A funny first-grade memory of coming down with chicken pox right before Christmas, just when a certain holiday pageant was counting on this little budding actress.
• An art print based on original artwork: "Dawn At Silver Creek Ranch" — Morning sun filters through bare winter trees onto sparkling snow, rendered in soft, gem-like blues
• A themed bookmark and wintry stickers

Written and illustrated by Jan Dale, (yours truly), rooted in the rhythms of rural life and the memories we love to laugh over.

Ships via USPS first-class mail to US addresses. No tracking — just the quiet anticipation of something real in your mailbox.
