Art & Story Club — April 2026 Issue | "Chicken Days"

Eight years of accumulated farm wisdom, and still — Mama couldn't be fooled.

One-time purchase: This is the February 2026 back issue, not a recurring subscription.

The April 2026 Issue of the Jan Dale Art & Story Club is a handcrafted mailing delivered straight to your door — no screens, no scrolling, just a beautifully printed letter and an original art print to hold in your hands.

This issue includes:

• A true memory story: "Chicken Days" — A true account of raising chickens for our family table, and the very creative child's attempt to disappear on processing day
• An original art print: "Up With The Chickens" — A classic still life of farm-fresh eggs nestled in a simple bowl, painted in warm russet, cream, and golden tones
• A bookmark celebrating birdsong and early rising, featuring the same egg bowl image, plus egg-themed stickers based on my original artwork

Written and illustrated by Jan Dale, (that's me) rooted in the rhythms of rural life and the memories we love to laugh over
